Neighborhood Kids believes in teaching children to love learning. If they think school is fun and learning is exciting then children are set up for lifelong learning and are equipped to handle challenges that lay ahead. We instill a sense of responsibility and confidence through character development and positive behavior support. Children are taught to live successfully in a group, respecting their peers, teachers and environment.

Lesson plans are developed to reinforce things already learned, challenge children to make new discoveries and strengthen critical thinking and problem solving skills. We balance the schedule with a blend of teacher directed and child initiated activities, allowing children to build decision making skills and engage in their own individual areas of interest. Outdoor play is planned in the morning and in the afternoon which gives children the opportunity for physical development and fitness. We also include a Creative Movement class one afternoon per week in our gym for every preschool child.

Conferences may be scheduled at your convenience and intercoms in the classrooms make teachers available for phone conferences during the day. Internet viewing of the classroom is available once your child is enrolled at Neighborhood Kids.
